ROLAND REISEWITZ

Roland Reisewitz, 1966, CH, is intensively engaged with form, color and expression in his painting. He creates pictures and pictorial objects using mixed techniques on various painting surfaces, such as wood, canvas and paper, as well as maps, found objects and building materials. He also creates land art objects in the great outdoors using natural materials. He combines external and internal stories and creates resonance with what is already there. His works tell of condensation and dissolution, of spontaneity and fascination with detail. Searching and finding run like a common thread through his work. He experiences forming with colors and surfaces as a journey of discovery in an unknown land. This creates his very own geography in colors.

The pictures in Sutivan for the SUSA were created on old murals with plant motifs. He thus circles around the theme of intensity, opportunity and the power of growth and allowing things to grow. Perhaps a small contribution to tolerance and respect for others and for others.
